Best Editorial “Mommy’s lil angels” by Brad Kelly
I do what I do, so I can do what I do. I’ve wandered from the east coast to the west, to the deserts and swamps of the south, and mountains in between, and back. It’s been a long twisted journey, but rarely boring, and always with a camera. Rendering images of the world around me, the way I see it, and would like to present it for people’s viewing enjoyment. To show the beauty in light and shadow the way I’ve witnessed it, and shaped it to my desire, whether I’ve been in the field, or the studio. Imagination is a powerful tool. I can take people places they may never get to go, to show them scenes they’ve never before dreamed of, until I’ve shown them.
I enjoy creating something from nothing. In the past, exposing emulsions of silver, and now with the powerful pixel. From the hours spent in the darkroom to the hours now spent in front of the computer. But, always having fun doing what I love, creating images to share with others. Make them smile, laugh, get them to think, daydream, or bring a tear to their eye. These are all just moments, captured, stolen, created, and saved. And, if only for the moment to let them see through my eyes.
