The first session will feature a social media expert from Wow Factor Media who will speak on how to get your content to the eyes of potential clients, how to build community online, why social media is important, and review the basics of Google My Business. From Affective Consulting, Kevan McBeth will lead the day’s second session, which will focus on understanding diversity. What is it? What can I do to better understand other people and their experiences? What’s the connection between business and diversity? And importantly for photographers, how might a greater understanding of diversity change the way I portray my subjects?

The day’s final session will feature Warne Noyce, who will lead a two hour, practical approach to off camera flash techniques. Knowing how to balance ambient light on location with portable strobes can open up exciting new looks for portraiture.
