Featured Photographer: Brent McCombs

Leading up to Halloween, who better to feature than the creepy Brent McCombs of AlterEgo Photography, Halifax? (Just kidding, Brent is not a creepy guy, but he does create some fantastically creepy imagery). Brent is a commercial, wedding, and portrait photographer, but his monster photography is a passion project. Pull up a chair and dim the lights, Brent spins quite a tale!

World Photographic Cup Bronze Medal

Moncton Nature Photographer Amanda Beers brought home a Bronze medal in the World Photographic Cup, for her amazing image of two terns fighting in mid-air. The WPC is an international competition, with some of the greatest photographers in the world. It is like the Olympics of photography. Huge congratulations to Amanda on this amazing achievement, with the only image she entered, and on her first time entering!

This month, we are so pleased to feature Berni Wood, owner of Reel Media Studio in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. She is an award-winning photographer with a Master of Photographic Arts and Service of Photographic Arts designations, and thirteen National photographic accreditations from Professional Photographers of Canada. Reel Media provides commercial and portraiture services, as well as production, direction, and location management services for film and television. She has produced, directed or line produced various music videos, tourism and cruise promotional pieces, commercials and documentaries.
